In collaboration with Okanagan Indian Band's Territorial Stewardship Department's Ruby Alexis on March 19, 2016 syilx artists Sheldon Louis and Dean Louis worked alongside Okanagan Indian Band members to teach the basics of painting a mural. Over a two day period artists and community members attend workshops at Komasket Park Arbor and visited, shared stories, and painted three 8' x 4' wood panels.
